Easy Wakame Brown Rice

Ingredients :
  • 15g dried wakame seaweed*
  • 50ml water
  • 25g brown rice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions :
  • 1. Bring water, brown rice, butter, and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until tender, 25 minutes.
  • 2. Soak wakame in water for 5 minutes; drain in a mesh strainer.
  • 3. Scoop rice into a bowl, and gently fold in wakame, avocado, and sesame seeds.
  • 4. Serve warm or cold.
