Sushi Mayonnaise
Sushi mayonnaise is typically seasoned with apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar and a small amount of MSG (Monosodium Glutamate), which gives it a different flavor from mayonnaise made from distilled vinegar. Its texture is less thick than most Western commercial mayonnaise.
This mayonnaise is a natural match to be used for making spicy sauce for fusion type sushi rolls. The flavored mayonnaise can be served with sushi, either on top, inside or as a dip. Sushi mayonnaise can be used also as a garnish sauce on top of baked tuna and salmon steaks. Accompany white fish with a small amount served as a dip.
It is also served as a dip for other seafood such as fried prawns and scallops.
